About Us

Leadership Team

Bill Walton
President

President and Founder: Bill Walton brings over 20 years of experience as a Sales Coach, Trainer and Author to his clients. He has worked extensively in the Financial Services, Software, Medical Devices, Commercial Manufacturing and Business Intelligence industries with a deep background in working with salespeople, sales managers and company presidents. His clients include Citrix, UL, Prudential Financial, AvisBudget Group, Merrill Lynch and Stryker Spine to name a few.  Bill has particular coaching and training expertise in Vale Proposition Development.. Bill is an amazon best selling author and Wharton facilitator and is a featured guest on CNN. His writing can be seen in his The Value Creation Sales Blog as well as in Human Resource Executive Magazine. Bill graduated magna cum laude from Connecticut State University with a degree in Business Administration and received a Masters in Organization Development and Training from Fordham University.

Amy King
Vice President, Marketing and Client Service

Amy King ensures client delight and follow through for the firm's sales training and value creation solutions. She promotes ProDirect's brand while engaging clients with on-site event support and operations. Amy has deep and rich experience in working with senior executives and successful entrepreneurs. She spent over 10 years as the Director of Marketing for the prestigious New York Athletic Club and served as a Marketing Coordinator for Clarins, a leading international beauty and fragrance company. Amy also supports the firm's charitable giving and event production. She is a graduate of the University of Miami. 


Dr. Leo Flanagan Ph.D.
Senior Executive Consultant

Dr. Leo Flanagan is a Senior Executive Sales Consultant. Leo has developed a unique practice around the creation and execution of sales, marketing and human resources strategies to drive sustained business success. Prior to ProDirect Leo was Group Director, Learning & Development/Chief Learning Officer for The Willis Group, the global insurance broker, where he launched the global sales training system for middle market and premier accounts.  Leo was also with Merrill Lynch where he designed the firm’s first integrated learning system and planned the first firm-wide leadership development  process that links and measures the impact of a leader’s performance through employee loyalty, client loyalty and financial results. Leo received his B.A. from Fordham University and his Ph.D. in Psychology from the City University of New York. 




John C. Ford
Executive Consultant

John C. Ford specializes in Sales, Sales Management and Sales Organization Development. While John is an accomplished executive sales coach, his work also includes seminar development and delivery. John’s executive coaching experience includes work with a number of senior managers in Fortune 200 companies around issues of sales strategy, people development and career planning. Among his clients have been executives from Lehman Brothers, Moody’s Investors Services Inc., Omnicom Group, Meredith Corporation, and Deloitte and Touche. John has received a number of awards from organizations like the American Society for Training and Development, Sales and Marketing Management Magazine, the National Communication Association and the Public Relations Society of America. John is listed in Who’s Who in America and is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park. 



David Harper
Executive Consultant

David Harper is a Senior ProDirect Executive Consultant with a proven record in both domestic and international markets. He has extensive consulting and leadership experience, with expertise in business and financial management, as well as leadership and organizational development. Prior to his work with ProDirect, Mr. Harper served as Senior Vice President at Partners International, a privately held management consulting serving the Fortune 500. Before being recruited to Partners, he led multi-stream consulting engagements for The Forum Corporation, a global leader in learning and management development. Mr. Harper is a Beta Gamma Sigma Medal recipient and graduate from Columbia University Graduate School of Business (MBA, Finance and Management), and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration as well as a BA in Psychology from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. He is an Adjunct Professor of Finance & Management at South University in Savannah, Georgia. 



Sandra Poster, Ph.D
Executive Consultant

Sandra Poster is a core ProDirect team member. As an executive coach and consultant, Dr. Poster has over 25 years of experience in the area of sales training and presentation skills. She has designed and delivered programs for corporations, organizations and special interest groups and is a frequent presenter at conferences and meetings. Recent clients include Lehman Brothers, Moody's Investors Services, Accessor Capital Management, TD Waterhouse Investor Services, Inc., Deloitte and Touche, and Columbia University. Sandra holds the rank of Full Professor at the City University of New York where her areas of expertise include Selling Skills, Presentation Skills, Interpersonal Communication and Videoconferencing. Sandra received her BA in Speech with honors from the University of Maryland, her MA in Communications from the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Pennsylvania, and her Ph.D. in Communication Arts and Sciences from New York University.
